William Gracie is an interior design studio led by founder and principal designer Khor Gracie, whose work is grounded in functionality, rational structure, and enduring design.

Khor began his career as a freelance designer in 2020, completing his first collaborative project in Southern California. He later joined a luxury-focused design studio, where he refined his approach through new construction and renovation projects spanning residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces.

Khor’s work spans a global footprint, with projects in Southern California, San Francisco, New York, and London. This breadth of experience informs a design sensibility that is architectural in nature—attentive to proportion, circulation, and structure—while remaining deeply responsive to how spaces are meant to be lived in.

A guiding principle in Khor’s work comes from French architect Eugène Viollet-le-Duc:

A rationally designed structure may not necessarily be beautiful, but no building can be beautiful if it does not have a rationally designed structure.

This philosophy underpins every project at William Gracie: beauty emerges from clarity, logic, and intention—not excess.

Prior to founding William Gracie, Khor contributed to projects that were featured in South Bay Magazine and, most notably, on the January 2024 cover of LUXE Interiors + Design – Los Angeles.

William Gracie is defined by a balance of refinement and restraint. Each space is designed to function seamlessly first, allowing materiality, form, and atmosphere to unfold naturally over time. The result is work that feels considered, livable, and enduring.
